Neck and Face Lift
More than any other part of the body, the face and neck can carry the heaviest visible burden of aging. Fortunately, help is available. Along with blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty, our practice also offers face and neck lift surgery, both of which can significantly improve your appearance and your outlook on life.
Often combined with brow lift and eyelid surgery, face and neck lift can make you look years younger. . During face lift surgery, the muscles and skin are tightened and repositioned. Incisions are hidden in the hairline and behind the ears. The surgery can be performed under general anesthesia, a twilight sleep or a local anesthetic.
Dr. Dolsky has developed a graduated approach to neck lift by creating a technique he calls posterior neck lift. This technique involves tightening the skin from the back of the neck using liposuction and lifting. This allows Dr. Dolsky additional maneuverability to achieve more precise results for his patients. Please click here to read our newsletter about the latest in facial rejuvination.
As always, Dr. Dolsky continues to be an innovator in his field, constantly seeking new and advanced technology for his practice. Please contact Cosmetic Surgery of Philadelphia today to learn more about neck and face lift.

The Contour ThreadLift™ Facelift Alternative
Cosmetic Surgery of Philadelphia offers the revolutionary Contour ThreadLift™ procedure, a quick, easy alternative to the traditional facelift. The Contour ThreadLift™ is ideal for younger patients just showing the early signs of facial sagging, for patients who´ve had a full facelift but just need a touchup, or for those who want a simpler, less invasive procedure. To perform the Contour ThreadLift™ procedures, Dr. Dolsky uses a special barbed suture just under the skin´s surface to gather and lift skin into a more youthful position. The change is immediate, and, within weeks, the underlying tissue heals into the new position. Because the sutures are inserted with a needle, there are no incisions to heal and only local anesthetic or mild sedation is required. Endoscopic Minimal Incision Forehead and Brow lift
Nothing ages the face and alters your appearance more than wrinkles and drooping eyebrows. This can result in a sad, angry and tired appearance. With the help of a brow lift and forehead lift, you can revisit the days of your youthful appearance.
We are not a face lift factory – we truly care about our clients and seek to offer the most individualized, state-of-the-art services available. Traditional brow lift procedures involve a large incision from ear to ear and require a fairly lengthy recovery period. Thanks to the advancement of endoscopic surgery and our commitment to superior results, Dr. Dolsky is now able to make a tiny incision while using a thin, lighted fiber optic tube. The tube is connected to a miniature television camera, which, in turn, transmits a magnified picture to a television monitor. The scalp is completely freed from the forehead, the wrinkles are treated, and the brow is elevated to a more youthful position. Stitches are usually removed about a week after surgery, and patients are able to return to work immediately. This procedure results in minimal scarring, reduced post-operative pain, and a much shorter recovery period. When brow lift is combined with procedures such as chin implant surgery, blepharoplasty or face lift, our patients have enjoyed dramatic results.

Dr. Dolsky has taught the endoscopic brow lift and forehead lift procedure at the University of Chicago’s Live Surgical Workshop. Please contact our office if you would like to experience the benefits of facial enhancement through cosmetic surgery.

Nasal Contouring (Rhinoplasty)
Rhinoplasty (also referred to as a ‘nose job’) involves the reshaping of the nose and nasal passage. People choose to have rhinoplasty at our Philadelphia practice for a variety of reasons, including correction of a birth defect, enhancement of facial aesthetics or post-injury restoration. To realize an even greater result, many of our clients combine procedures such as rhinoplasty and chin implant. Dr. Dolsky Medical Director of Cosmetic Surgery of Philadelphia.will develop a custom rhinoplasty (nasal contouring) plan for you and help you determine which procedure or combination of procedures will produce the best results.
Rhinoplasty takes one to two hours and is performed under general anesthesia. During the surgery, the cartilage and bone of the nose are reshaped. There are two types of surgical methods: closed and open rhinoplasty. Incisions are made from inside of the nose during closed rhinoplasty, resulting in no visible scars. In open rhinoplasty, a small incision is made between the nostrils; however, these scars are barely visible within a few months after surgery.
Dr. Dolsky’s enthusiasm for and interest in the area of rhinoplasty was born out of his unique background and training as both an ear, nose and throat surgeon and a cosmetic plastic surgeon. Since rhinoplasty at our Philadelphia office combines both art and science, Dr. Dolsky’s medical experience is further supported by his education and interest in art history. Indeed, Dr. Dolsky’s keen aesthetic eye and superior surgical skills ensure that your results will be of an uncompromisingly high quality.

Chin Implant – Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania
A weak or recessed chin can significantly alter the appearance of your nose and entire facial profile, making you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable. An otherwise proportionate nose can appear too large with a recessed chin and too small with an overly prominent chin.
Chin implant surgery has helped our patients enhance their overall facial aesthetics, particularly their profiles. Performed under local or general anesthesia, chin implant surgery at our Bala Cynwyd office is most often combined with face lift or rhinoplasty surgery. The surgery normally takes about an hour, and patients are released with a chin bandage to hold the chin implant in place during healing. Our staff will inform you of every detail of your care. Most people can resume their normal activities one week after surgery.

Dr. Dolsky has discovered that more than 25 percent of his nasal contouring and facial rejuvenation patients have significant weakness of the chin. A chin implant at our Philadelphia office, combined with either face lift or nasal contouring, requires minimal additional incisions and may considerably improve your overall results.
If you are interested in having chin implant surgery in the Philadelphia area, please contact our cosmetic surgery office for an initial consultation appointment.

Eyelid Surgery ( Blepharoplasty) – Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania
The eyes are commonly referred to as ‘windows to the soul,’ powerful proof of their importance to one’s overall appearance. Unfortunately, excess skin and sagging around the eyes, often due to aging, can give you a tired, old and frustrated look.
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, involves the removal of excess fat and skin from the eyelids. Eyelid surgery is often performed in conjunction with other plastic surgery procedures to enhance overall results.
Dr. Dolsky, in his never-ending commitment to providing his patients with the best results possible, performs transconjunctival blepharoplasty for his Philadelphia area patients. During transconjunctival blepharoplasty, an incision is made from inside of the eyelid, where fat can be removed without visible scarring. Transconjunctival blepharoplasty gives our Philadelphia area patients the benefits of decreased bruising, shorter recovery periods and more precise results. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis with sedation and local anesthesia. Patients can expect to go home bandage-free with only mild discomfort.
Our clients can combine blepharoplasty and face lift at our practice as part of a comprehensive facial rejuvenation program. Contact our office for further details.
